Emergency
The Madison Animal Hospital provides limited emergency service for our current patients only. We are currently a one doctor practice, making 24/7 coverage unfeasible. Since our opening in Feb. 2006, our doctor has been available 90% of the time. However, this means 10% of the time it is necessary to refer to the emergency hospitals in Lewiston and Brewer. If you have an emergency please call our office number, 696-5200, and you will receive appropriate instructions. Do not call the pager without first calling the office to determine if the doctor is available. If your pet is not a current patient, please contact the Eastern Maine Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Brewer at 989-6267 or the Animal Emergency Clinic of mid Maine in Lewiston at 777-1110.
IMPORTANT:
*In order to be considered a patient, your pet needs to be current on his/her annual examination and vaccinations. We do not provide emergency services for patients of other hospitals.*
