About us
The Madison Animal Hospital was incorporated in November 2005 and began providing services February 1, 2006. We are located in the Madison Business Gateway multi-purpose business park located in the heart of scenic central Maine (www.madisonbusinessgateway.com). Our focus is on providing high quality, small animal veterinary care for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, and rodents (guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and mice). We do not provide care for large animals, birds, amphibians, or reptiles.
We boast a superior support staff consisting of one veterinarian, two licensed veterinary technicians, one experienced animal health assistant, and two receptionists (one of which also doubles as a kennel nurse and groomer). We treat everyone here like family and share a common interest; the health of your pet.
Reception area
Our hospital consists of a welcoming reception area with a television and a variety of pet care products to browse while waiting. For your safety and your pet’s safety, we do ask that you keep your pet on a leash or in a carrying crate.
Exam Rooms
Upon check-in you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff members and admitted into one of our exam rooms. Our exam rooms are very spacious (12’ x 10’) with abundant natural lighting and plenty of educational and leisure reading material.
Please note: We have both a walking ramp at the main entrance and also a wheelchair accessible ramp to the left of the building which enters in the back of the building.
