Dr. Darren Richards opened Madison Animal Hospital February 1st, 2006 fulfilling a desire to provide high quality and compassionate veterinary care for the pets of Madison and the greater central Maine region. Some of our clients travel from as far away as Jackman, Machias, Augusta and Rangely. What began as a single doctor practice with three support staff has steadily grown to a three-doctor practice with twelve support staff…and we’re still growing! But don’t worry, we have not lost our small town, family-oriented atmosphere which has made us one of the highest rated veterinary hospitals in all of Maine.
